About the Initiative
The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) Long-Term Services & Supports Commission and the LifeCourse Nexus, through Systems Change, Engagement Activities, and Training, seeks to enhance person-centered thinking, planning, and practices in all levels of the long-term services and support system for all populations through commitment to the Charting the LifeCourse Framework. Learn more about this initiative.
Charting the LifeCourse is a highly individualized approach, encouraging individuals and families to actively participate in planning their lives rather than passively receiving services. Learn more about the Charting the LifeCourse Framework and Principles here.

We envision a world where everyone has the tools to explore, problem-solve, and plan for a meaningful life. Using interactive learning and personal application, participants gain new perspectives, innovative problem-solving strategies, and tools to achieve a ‘good life.’ No matter who you support or their life stage, this course equips you with the foundational knowledge and skills to drive real, impactful change.
It is recommended learners attend Intro to Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) beforehand to maximize learning; this free webinar can be accessed here: Intro to Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC).
