The UMKC-Institute for Human Development’s LifeCourse Nexus is hosting the 10th Annual Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Showcase May 5-7, 2026, at the Westin Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

We invite you to Kansas City to celebrate the 10th Annual CtLC Showcase! Together, we will reflect on a decade of growth and impact while continuing to learn how the CtLC framework and principles drive meaningful change in people’s lives.

This milestone Showcase will highlight how a person-centered approach supports people, families, programs, and systems to explore, plan, and problem-solve for positive change.

Throughout the sessions, people who use CtLC, family members, and professionals will share practical strategies and real-world examples of applying CtLC in everyday life and across multiple levels of change. Sessions will feature hands-on learning, direct application, and opportunities to collaborate.

The CtLC Showcase is the signature annual event hosted by the LifeCourse Nexus, a national training and technical assistance center housed at the University of Missouri–Kansas City’s Institute for Human Development.

Back by popular demand, we will again offer Pre-Showcase Intensive sessions. These sessions will focus on building your confidence in using CtLC for specific applications. All Pre-Showcase Intensives take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center.
