Charting the LifeCourse is more than just a set of tools and resources. The framework provides a deeper way of thinking, exploring, and planning. You have permission to download and use the open-source tools, as is, from our website. However, it is recommended that you become familiar with Charting the LifeCourse before using the tools by attending workshops and training. As a CtLC AmbassadorTM, you can integrate CtLC principles, tools, and language into your day-to-day work to support planning, problem-solving, and helping others. You champion the use of CtLC within your organization to strengthen how your team thinks, plans, and solves problems. You also apply CtLC principles in state and local initiatives to advocate for systems change and promote person-centered practices.
CtLC AmbassadorsTM ARE NOT able to train others on CtLC. Becoming an Ambassador is the prerequisite to earning LifeCourse Badges and starting on a trainer journey.

Certified LifeCourse Ambassadors with a CtLC Presenters badge can provide Introduction to Charting the LifeCourse workshops. At this time, only LifeCourse Nexus Staff, Certified LifeCourse Nexus Coaches, and Certified Fundamentals Trainers can train professionals and others on the approved Charting the LifeCourse curriculum.
For LifeCourse Affiliate organizations, the LifeCourse Nexus provides technical assistance for integrating the CtLC thinking, methods, and tools into existing policy and procedural training. Affiliates are eligible for a new trainer process to become a LifeCourse Fundamental Trainer and begin the pathway to becoming a LifeCourse Trainer of Distinction. If your organization is interested in integrating the framework, tools, iconography, and assets to enhance your policies, procedures, or practices, you must contact us to become a LifeCourse Nexus Affiliate. By becoming an Affiliate, your organization will have access to the LifeCourse Branding and Style Guide, the ability to white-label LifeCourse tools, and opportunities to learn about integrating the principles throughout your organization. Organizations and companies that want to develop and integrate LifeCourse into their technology, products, and research must become a LifeCourse Nexus Partner. LifeCourse Nexus Partners have a formal relationship with the LifeCourse Nexus, such as a memorandum of understanding, licensing agreement, grants, or contracts to use or research the framework, tools, and branding in their work.
