Marie’s career has focused on supporting people and their families with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the last decade. She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and a B.G.S. in Applied Behavior Science from the University of Kansas. Before joining the Nexus, Marie worked with children and families in a variety of practice settings, including home health, public schools, and community non-profits. Marie is passionate about supporting all people to live the lives they want to live by utilizing a holistic perspective and creative thinking. 

Marie’s good life involves spending time with her family (husband, daughter, and dogs) and friends. She loves traveling, exploring new restaurants, going to concerts, and doing yoga.
