Lisa Meyer

Lisa Meyer has worked in the human services field for more than 35 years. She is national coach and instructor. Most recently she was the Director of a training & technical assistance organization that supported statewide implementation of state policy and procedure on behalf of the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs.

Ms. Meyer has been a County Administrator of Human Services programs in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Most notably in Behavioral Health, Drug and Alcohol, Supports Coordination, Aging, Developmental Disabilities, and Early Childhood programs. She also provided program oversight to PA’s family navigators. Ms. Meyer worked with Support Development Associates, SDA in supporting states (Virginia, Tennessee, Washington DC, North Carolina, Mississippi, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Georgia) in implementing Person-Centered Practices as part of Person-Centered Organizations efforts.

Ms. Meyer is certified by the ASTD Association for Training & Talent Development Designing Learning Program. She is recognized by the Learning Community for Person Centered Practices as a credentialed Person-Centered Thinking Mentor Trainer, Coach and Plan Facilitation Mentor Trainer. There is an intersection between Ms. Meyer’s professional and personal life as she is also a family member and informally provides support to members of her family who are living with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism. She lives in North Carolina, and she has 8 grandchildren.
