Crisis creates opportunities.

Georgia Mueller

Warrior of Wayfinding

Georgia Mueller has been driven to encourage families to support each other for 18 years, when she became the mother of a son with autism. She had her first job in the field as a neutral third party advocate between parents and the state service system where she was able to share her passion for helping other families access resources to help the entire family prosper for a lifetime. She later went on to work for the state Parent Training and Information program on education rights, before ultimately making Missouri Family to Family her career home. She started as an Information and Referral Specialist supporting and training families in topics such as service system navigation, family financial resource maximization and advocacy in general. She now functions as the Program Coordinator. She holds undergraduate and masters degrees in Human Ecology.

Along the journey, Georgia has sought additional training and certifications as both a LEND and Partners in Policymaking graduate, an SSI trained CWIC-Certified Work Incentive Counselor/Benefits Specialist, a CRS – Certified Resource Specialist, a Bloch School of Business Entrepreneurship Scholar and a Community Health Worker, with additional emphasis in social work.

Georgia grew up in Greater Kansas CIty and resides there with her husband and young adult son, Caleb. Her husband Keith is a vegetable breeder, specifically tomatoes. Caleb enjoys anything outside, the zoo and being with friends and family. Georgia also enjoys being involved with organizations that cultivate special needs ministry and employment programs.

Georgia’s Good Life:
They are currently seeking their “dream urban farm” with room to enjoy the outdoors and invite friends and family often. There will be pets and Caleb will ultimately have his own residence on the property.
