Kayla McCollum

Sr. Project Coordinator for Person-Centered Support

Kayla has developed a passion for planning, efficiency, creating, and supporting systems that prioritize the individual needs of people after working for over 15 years in the aging and disability field. With a Master’s degree in Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Psychology, she supports the work of the LifeCourse Nexus by coordinating and working alongside teams to ensure the principles of person-centered planning are woven into the fabric of their organizations and in the supports they provide to the people they serve.

She values authenticity and is a lifelong learner, committed to challenging the status-quo. She enjoys music, reading, podcasts, hiking and camping. She cherishes time spent with her partner Bradley, daughter Eleanor, their 2 dogs, 4 cats, and many chickens while growing their homestead in Southwest Missouri. She prioritizes traveling with friends and exploring new places, foods, and cultures. She hopes to leave the world better than she found it.
